cHAMBER OF cOMMERCE
The Cimarron Chamber of Commerce exists to serve our businesses by working along with our Village Council, schools, clubs, and community members to revitalize and thrive as a community, support economic development, and the quality of life in our part of rural America.

CIMARRON AREA VETERANS MEMORIAL
The Memorial is a work in progress honoring past, present, and future Veterans in the Cimarron Area and the military service of Cimarron Area residents' family members. Commenced in 2011 & formally dedicated in 2012, it has been built exclusively through private donations of money, time, material, and self-help and is voluntarily maintained by an unincorporated association of local vets.
The Village holds ceremonies on or near these holidays: Run For The Wall (Armed Forces Day); Memorial Day; Independence Day; & Veterans Day. Call the Chamber office for more info: 575-376-2417.

CIMARRON CIVIC Club
Formerly the Kiwanis Club of Cimarron, the Club is no longer affiliated with the national organization whose focus has shifted more to international issues. Cimarron CIVIC Club will concentrate on the needs of the local community as we distribute monies from our various fundraising events. Visitors and new members are welcome. Come share your ideas!

FRIENDS OF EAGLE NEST LAKE AND CIMARRON CANYON STATE PARKS
Friends of Eagle Nest Lake and Cimarron Canyon State Parks is a private entity operating under a Cooperative Agreement with New Mexico State Parks. Friends is composed of individuals and groups who provide volunteer services and raise funds to complement, contribute to and support the services provided by the Eagle Nest Lake and Cimarron Canyon State Parks. Services include, but are not limited to, sponsoring events and helping enhance trails within the Parks.
Membership is open to all who want to work to make these Parks more enjoyable for the general public. For more information visit the Friends website.

Historical Society
The Cimarron Historical Society gathers each month to share and learn new things about the history of Cimarron. They usually meet in Jan, Feb, Mar, Apr, May, Sept, Oct, Dec, either the 4th Wed or Thursday of the month. They also have an outing at Philmont, usually in late July or early Aug.

Maverick Club
The Maverick Club was formed by fifty prominent citizens of the Village of Cimarron in 1922. The Club's purpose was to pursue social, civic and educational activities while avoiding political and religious viewpoints. The Maverick Club has sponsored Cimarron's 4th of July Rodeo since 1923- the oldest continuously operating rodeo in the United States. Click

Village of Cimarron
Established in 1857, the Village of Cimarron, New Mexico is the Historic Heart of the West. Intriguing and diverse, its history reaches back to the Santa Fe Trail.
