Some of the most astonishing performance artists in the world are the young classical musicians that appear in the ShortGrass Music Festival during its September concert weekend. As part of the Festival, these young artists give area students their own private, all-schools concert at the Shuler Theater in Raton, where they play, talk about the music and answer questions. High fives might be exchanged as the audience leaves the auditorium.
