WINTER

    Winter in Cimarron is the best of both worlds.  With the occasional snowstorms that hit the Rockies, we have the opportunity to play in the snow, but because of our location, the weather doesn't stay cold for long.  Snow melts quickly once the sun comes out.  There's always the option to head up to a local ski area and spend some time getting cold, but many days in the winter here are in the 50s and 60s.  When the sun is out, which is a large percent of the time, it is pleasant to be outdoors year round.
