The best place to begin your visit to Cimarron, New Mexico is our Visitor Center located at the corner of Highway 64 and Lincoln Avenue, adjacent to the Village Park.
There you will find a variety of brochures and information to help you enjoy your trip to Cimarron. We also offer a public restroom, fax/copy service, local cookbooks, topographic and other maps, caps, and T-shirts.
The adjacent park has picnic tables, a gazebo, a children's play area, swings, and community garden. There is also a pathway along the park that leads to the visitor center if you are on foot.
On Highway 64, smack dab in the center of town, across from the visitor center, you will see our fantastic new Santa Fe Trail Byway Interpretive Center featuring historical information and photographs. Please stop by and enjoy this unique taste of Cimarron's history.

Our Informational Kiosk is available if the Visitor Center is closed. Or visit a local shop. Most are stocked with information and you'll find many friendly faces in this unique western town where people still wave and the West is Still Wild.
