VISITOR CENTER

Welcome Center

The best place to begin your visit to Cimarron, New Mexico is our Visitor Center located at the corner of Highway 64 and Lincoln Avenue, adjacent to the Village Park.

There you will find a plethora of brochures and information to help you enjoy your trip to our lovely area. We also offer a public restroom, fax/copy service, local cookbooks, topographic and other maps, caps, and Tshirts.

The adjacent park has picnic tables, a gazebo, a children's play area, swings, and community garden. There is also a pathway along the park that leads to the visitor center if you are on foot.

On Highway 64, smack dab in the center of town, across from the visitor center, you will see our fantastic new Santa Fe Trail Byway Interpretive Center featuring historical information and photographs. Please stop by and enjoy this unique taste of Cimarron's history.

If you find our visitor center closed, please visit one of our local shops for more information. Most are stocked with brochures and you'll find many friendly faces in this unique western town where people still wave and the West is Still Wild.
